In July 2018, Sharon was elected as the Regional Vice President for NAREB’s (The National Association of Real Estate Brokers) Region VI which includes Georgia, Florida and Alabama. NAREB is the oldest and largest the oldest minority trade organization in the nation. She served in this capacity for the 2018-2019 and 2019- 2020 term, taking the proven model that she created as a local Chapter President and implemented the same strategies and tactics within her Region resulting in an increase in engagement, membership, sponsorship and, most importantly, more homeowners. Not only did she serve effectively on the regional level, but she utilized her keen organizational & critical thinking skills and creativity in the role of the National Convention Chair for NAREB for the term of 2019-2020 and currently for 2020-2021. She "cut her teeth" nationally while serving as the National Membership Chair and the Co-Chair for Education, roles that allowed her to meet and impact new members by giving them a positive introduction and by navigating them through the organization in the most effective and efficient way in order to maximize their membership. Prior to blazing trails in her regional and national capacities, she was elected and served as President of the Empire Board of REALTISTS®, (EBR), the Atlanta local chapter of NAREB for the years 2016, 2017 & 2018. Sharon quickly and steadfastly blazed trails to minority home ownership with her excellent leadership skills and ability to connect people to the information that they need to be successful. Sharon’s successful Presidency was been primarily focused on revitalizing and reinvigorating the 79 year old organization with new strategies, tactics and initiatives that provided her member base with business development opportunities while aligning with the national goals. Some of these included growing the membership by almost 40% year over year, and launching new initiatives like the Empire – REIA (Real Estate Investment Alliance).
